This course will take you, a dedicated school leader, from being overwhelmed at the prospect of helping faculty thrive, to confidently creating a vision for a school where all have greater access to health and well-being. This course is a free introduction to the work, and will lead you through how to create a faculty well-being vision statement.
The full course, coming out mid-July 2020, will help school leaders design a manageable plan for next school year using an approach based on the research of Positive Psychology.
Modules will include training on: navigating emotions successfully, fostering positive and collaborative relationships among faculty, increasing engagement, reconnecting to meaning, and facilitating a climate of achievement and growth. Through a strengths based lens, you will find opportunities to learn from what is working and make small tweaks so that your teachers and students can flourish!
You'll also brainstorm ways to help support teachers engage in healthful practices, such as getting adequate sleep, stress management, eating wisely, and exercising regularly!
